Students and faculty in the Program in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies came together on April 17, 2025, for a celebration at Foundry in Pullman to honor graduating WGSS seniors and WGSS award recipients.

On March 21st, 2025, the Program in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies launched the inaugural Public Research Seminar with keynote speaker Dr. Sydney Calkin.

On March 3 and 4, 2025, WGSS and others cosponsored a screening of a short film series produced by the Abortion Clinic Film Collective.

On February 6th-8th, 2025, the Program in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies co-sponsored with WSU’s School of Music the annual Festival of Contemporary Artists in Music (FOCAM).

On October 15, 2024, the Program in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies celebrated WGSS student research with InQueery, its annual symposium, themed “No Pride in Genocide.”

In Fall 2024 the Program in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies introduced a new interdisciplinary graduate certificate to students at WSU!
