On April 19, 2024, the Program in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies hosted a celebration at Foundry in Pullman to honor graduating WGSS seniors and awards recipients. Student and faculty attendees enjoyed appetizers, refreshments, and conversation with one another. The celebrated WGSS students included Beeler Lile, the 2024 WGSS Outstanding Senior; Susy Cerda Martinez, Minerva Hayes, Alysia Luna, Tavia Morgan, and Mason Metzger, who all were awarded Pauline E. Thompson Scholarships in Women’s, Gender, & Sexuality Studies;
Emma Hoerle, who received the2024 Celia Forrest Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Student Award; and Kristine Binay, Susy Cerda Martinez, and Eva Baydo–Bravo, who received WGSS Scholarly Achievement Awards. A WGSS Special Appreciation Award was given to Anna Bushy, for her excellent contributions as the 2023- 2024 WGSS Program Assistant.
