Every year, the Program in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies partners with the English Graduate Organization to co-host the Feminist/Queer Dialogue Series, a biannual event that highlights groundbreaking research being conducted by WGSS faculty and affiliate faculty. For the fall installment of the Feminist/Queer Dialogue Series on October 30, 2023, Dr. Betty Wilson, Assistant Professor of Human Development and an affiliate faculty in WGSS, gave a presentation titled, “‘Ain’t I A Woman?’ State-Sanctioned Violence and the Plight on Black Women in the U.S.”
