Students and faculty in the Program in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies came together on April 17, 2025, for a celebration at Foundry in Pullman to honor graduating WGSS seniors and WGSS award recipients. Folks enjoyed appetizers, refreshments, and lively conversation. The WGSS Graduation and Awards Celebration also welcomed new WGSS affiliate faculty, providing a chance to foster new connections. The celebrated students included Eva Baydo-Bravo, the 2025 WGSS Outstanding Senior; Mariana Lombera, Minerva Hayes, Sienna Guadagnoli, and Warren Oaklen, who all were awarded Pauline E. Thompson Scholarships in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies; Minerva Hayes and Mariana Lombera, who both were awarded Johanna Busek Scholarships in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies; Christine Collins and Alysia Luna, who received first place WGSS Scholarly Achievement Awards; and Sienna Guadagnoli, who received a first place WGSS Creative Achievement Award.
